Sweet Roses Necklace
This romantic necklace was inspired by victorian jewelry. It was known that the early year of that era ( 1837 -1860 ) were described as romantic or sentimental that reflected the youth and courtship and marriage of the young Queen Victoria.
The pendant was made with a porcelain cabochon, fresh water pearl and swarovski beads. A pink velvet ribbon was use to complete the look.
My first brooch
Almost a year ago I was hooked to wire jewelry and I have been making almost all kind of jewelry except brooch. I bought tutorials and I took workshop in making brooch... but still no brooch....(lol)
" Well...I guess I'm not into brooch...." that was always my excuse. But a jewelry designer should be able to make anything including brooches. After I saw Rina's final shell collection, yesterday I decided to make brooch with sea shell to make a pair with my sea shell bangle.I have to confess, the process was not as difficult as I thought. So, who wants to order brooch from me?
Look at them.... aren't they a great pair?

Druzy Bangle
In the beginning she was my teacher... as time went, these couple of months we became best friend. In MP community she is quite famous with her creative ideas. I envy her talent and her productivity. So when she asked me to me her a bangle, I felt so honoured...
Imagine...my teacher trusted me to make her a bangle using her own Druzy.
After I got the beads, a rush of adrenalin came through my body... I felt nervous as well as excited. I couldn't wait to finish it for her but at the same time I was afraid if I could't meet her expectation.
Because the beads were quite small, it was a bit hard to handle. I spent 12 hours and more than 10 metres of wire to make the bangle.
So, my dearest friend, I thank you for the opportunity you have given me....I had so much fun making it and I like the outcome.... I wish you will like it as much as I do

Another wave bangle.....
After I made the previous bangle base on Yoana's tutorial I decided to make another bangle that was inspired by Eni Oken. If you looked close enough, you would notice the difference. As you can see, a 1 mm wire appeared more solid than 0,8 mm. And it gave the bangle a stronger and masculine character yet soft because of the pearl.Personally, I enjoyed making both of them.If you have to choose, which one do you like better ?

Sea Shell Necklace
After I finished the bangle, I couldn't wait to make the necklace. It just felt right to make a necklace to match the bangle. I needed about 8 hours to do these because the centre bead was made with sea shell pendant I made before.
Last Saturday a friend of mine saw the finished necklace and she exclaimed : "This is definitely a TO DIE FOR necklace...."
Here, let me show you....and I want you to tell me your honest opinion...

Sea Shell Bangle
This past week I got a creative block...I didn't feel like doing anything with wire. So, what did I do ? I went to book shop browsing in the hobby section, and I was lucky to find "The Crystal Bible" by Judy Hall. Then I got a chance to meet my friend Heri and she taught me how to make pipa. Still it didn't make my creative juices flowing... and I was getting desperate. My friend Heri, Rina and Annie already made several beautiful things and it made me more desperate. Yesterday, after browsing Eni Oken's Jewelry I stumbled upon the memory treasures bracelet. I suddenly felt like making those bracelet with my sea shell beads. I spent about 10 hours and more than 14 metres of wires.I hope this will keep my creative juices flowing....

Finished at last.....
After some careful thought and several attempted of mixing and matching with different beads, my choice went to a combination of different flat oval semi precious stones like citrine, amethyst, peridot and other clear stones with fresh water pearl.
I think the necklace looked soft and delicate - not to out-shine the pendant... and I fininshed it with a silver heart clasp.
They look perfect together, aren't they ?

Bangle Collections
These days I'm obsessed to make bangles.
When I started to make one, I couldn't wait to finish it... to me it was like watching a cocoon becoming a butterfly.
Sometimes the results were quite different that what I imagened before.
To make these bangles gave me so much satisfaction.
