AYUDHIA IN TURQUOISE

These set were inspired by ayudhia bangle, a tutorial by borneo pahlevi, a talented jewelry designer from my country, Indonesia.
He started doing wire work a bit later than me but now he already made more tutorial than me in www.jewelrylessons.com ... that's how good he is .... =)

The necklace was made with the same principle with the bangle. I only made each piece a bit longer (about 10 cm each) so it could nicely formed as necklace.

Both Turqoise in the necklace and bangle were netted, not woven as shown in the tutorial.
I chose to make a simple bezel for both cabochon to enhance the intricate wire woven on the left and the right side of the cabochon.

I really love the combination of turqoise and copper wire ... I hope you do too .....
Thank you for looking ....

Turqoise Medusa

I love anything with Medusa design by Gailavira ... this time I made it with Turqoise. Like my Medusa Bangle in http://beautyndbeads.blogspot.com/2010/05/medusas-bangle.html the combination of Turqoise and copper were kind of mystical and magical.

As for the chain, I made just a short Byzantine chain mail then continued with simple cord.

I think this pendant is very beautiful... =)

ANCIENT TREASURE KEY

As I mentioned in my previous post, I felt like making another key after I finished the copper key. So I made the second key with colored artistic wire, gun metal, to make it looked more vintage.

At first, I just used 3 mm Czech fire polished beads for the ornament but then I thought it needed something for the vocal point.

I chose a heart shape swarovski crystal, since the shape of the key was also heart shape.

After I attached the vocal point, I was satisfied because it really looked soo beautiful. The heart crystal shines beautifully against the dark colored wire. I wished I could take a better picture since it was not easy to take picture of crystal.

It really looked like an old key of some lost treasure in some fairytale stories, right?

So I called it Ancient Treasure Key.

PURPLICIOUS

To me, it means deliciously purple... ^.^ I love the color purple...
I could easily fell in love with any stones in purple color. Like this amethyst stone if you could see it closer, its not really clear and perfect because there was a little "cloud" inside the stone.
But that's nature... to me the beauty of the stone came from the "imperfectness" of nature.
I also made a pair of earrings to complete the set. Enjoy......
