My experiments with Gilders Paste

These necklaces were made using ordinary store bought metal pendant.  Then I added gilders paste using my fingers.... it was really fun adding the colors and saw the transformation from ordinary to extraordinary pendants.... I had so much fun with it.

Soumak Weave

The weaving I made for this pendant was the Soumak weave based on a tutorial  by Jan Raven.  According to him, this weaving technique has been used for centuries to hand-weave Persian Rug.

Basket Weave Bead Cap

A simple basket weave can make a beautiful bead cap for a large tear drop Rose Quartz.

As for the ornament, I made a wire mesh and stitched all the beads on it then added some filigrees to finished.

And voila.... I really love it... the color combination between the wire and Rose Quarts are perfect .... \(^o^)/

Artistica Blue Medallion

Still exploring in wire stitching, this beautiful pendant was made with colored druzy , fresh water pearls, swarovski crystals and turqoise beads. With 10 cm in diameter, I'm sure if you wear it all eyes will turn to you..... =)

Since I really love wearing brooch, this too could be worn as a brooch.....

Enjooooy......

Indian Feather

This set was made base of the tutorial of Iza Malczyck, one of my wire master idol, using gold and silver Japanese made Artistic Wire. While the wire was 15 mm thick but it was easy to bend because it was made from aluminium.

Both set looked beautiful..... although I like the silver one better =)

But that's just me... what do you think ?

LABRADORITE in wire stitching

This is a more elaborate version of wire stitching compared to my last project.
It has a considerably more details of filigree and I purposely made the "labradorite chain" part detachable so the "pendant" part could be worn separately as a brooch.
With 10 x 7 cm "pendant" and 60 cm "chain" if worn together I'm sure it it could be a "statement" necklace.... =))
I wish I could take a better pictures, in reality it is more beautiful..... enjoy....

Commission Pieces : Onyx Set

This was another commission pieces from my Sister in law... she wanted a jewelry set using a black stone with silver wire. So I chose a faceted Onyx stone for the necklace and earrings.
I also made the chain to matched the necklace.
As for the ring, I used a faceted black glass bead which looked like onyx
I think she's going to love it ..... what do you think?
