The term of wire stitching was my own way of explaining the technique that I used to make these jewelries. As I explained in my previous post http://beautyndbeads.blogspot.com/2010/10/and-i-won.html it was inspired by jewelry with beading technique. And since I have no patient (yet) to learn that technique, I tried implement it with wire work.
As you can see the result was wonderful..... with filigrees and beads stitched on the netted back ground made the jewelry pieces looked "full" and "rich".
And using darker wire as the back ground really gave a sense of dimension as well as enhancing the gold color.
I really really love this pieces.... enjoy....
This blog will chronicle my journey as a wire jewelry designer. If you are interested in my jewelry please email me at beautyndbeads @gmail.com

.... and I WON .....
Every month or so, our wire jewelry community held a challenge with certain theme given by the host. And the winner becomes the host for the next challenge.
This time the theme was all about COLOR .... a jewelry piece using different color beads or different colored wire.
And my "ONYX IN VINTAGE COLORED" got the most vote... *yaaaaayyy*.... thank you everybody..... *hugs*
This pendant was inspired by beautiful jewelries with beading technique.
As did in beading, all beads and wire elements were stitched onto the netted background.
I purposely used darker colored wire as the base to create a sense of dimension and enhance the color of the golden wire.
I guess I have to think a theme for the next challenge.... you got any idea?
